Nexcare, Still Made in USA

I’ve been tracking Nexcare since 2011 and it has always been made in USA.

Many may wish even the raw materials were sourced in the State, however, I don’t think it is possible since not everything is grown or produced here. For something that is on our skin and cuts, I am happy enough with bandages produced in USA with strict safety standards.

Nexcare Waterproof Clear, My Top Pick

I’ve tried many bandages (even from Japan and South Korea). Nexcare’s Waterproof Clear line works best, it stays on the longest and peels off without taking some skin with it.

Please note that it is not reasonable to think the seal would stay put if it’s in active contact with water. However, the other ones I have tried didn’t even stay on my finger after washing just a few dishes.

For small cuts, I like the smallest one (0.88 x 1.1 in). This way, when I get tiny cuts, I won’t be wasting the larger bandage which doesn’t stay on as well because it usually needs to go over at least one finger joint which makes it harder to stay sealed.

Other Made in USA Bandages

There are times I need bandages to cover an area that doesn’t need to be waterproof and/or needs frequent changing. In this case I would use the older style bandages because they are less expensive.

Target’s Up & Up was my choice but most of their bandages are no longer made in USA. During the search, I did find more USA made bandages then years before. I’m listing two below.

I’ve only tried Amazon Basic Care Sheer and Clear Adhesive Bandages and it works well enough for my needs.

All-Health (I haven’t tried) is an US brand on Amazon that makes their primary products in Sarasota, Florida.
